Located in South Jakarta area, this dwelling has a land area of about 300 square

meters. It serves as a social space for surrounding residents in the village, where a

small portion of the land is allocated for the semi-public area functions, such as

amphitheater, public library and stage performances.

There are three building masses with different functions and impressions. One of

them uses a container that functions as a working studio for the owner, creating a

distinctive atmosphere around the residence. In addition, there is an altitude

difference of the floor among the masses of the building by splitting the levels.

The majority of the building material used is natural, including unpainted walls,

exposed cement, steel frames and recycled materials such as scrap teak wood for

the building facade. Crops such as vegetables are planted on the rooftop of all

building masses and in some vertical spots, based on the application of the urban

farming concept.
