S+H House was a progressive development for a client’s second home, that meant that the house has to function as both a residence and a personal hub for the client’s private art collections. Situated in Kelapa Gading, the house was initiated with the understanding of environmental responsibility. With a relatively small area to deal with, the S+H House managed to present the successful effort on tackling cramped spaces and evoked uniqueness to its final design.

The first solution is to assemble the rooms and spaces in a vertical way. Split floor leveling inside the central areas of the house encourages for a dynamic relationship between its spatial experiences, be it indoors and outdoors. Natural lightings were also implemented to allow a strong connection of livelihood within each floor.
