The K - House is situated in one of the premium private residential cluster in Kalibata, Jakarta City. Resided living on the corner of residential row, the old house was extended after the adjacent next-door house were owned. Whether to be fully demolished or rebuilt from scratch, the brief was to design a luxurious, tropical, and contemporary family home in order to showcase the client’s professional standard. The design aimed to form a passive design where the optimized ventilation and sufficient sunlight are the main consideration to be featured within the building form.
