Our client’s passion and philosophy for eco-friendly and sustainable living inspires Platform

Architects to realize Uluwatu Resort that creates a harmonious relationship with its surrounding

environment of Uluwatu, Bali. With the principle of green sustainable initiatives in mind, energy

and power usage of the resort, air quality and lighting of the architecture are put into careful

consideration when designing this project.

Responding to the contoured land and the beautiful scenery upon its site, Uluwatu Resort sits into

a terrace massing of 20 unit villas. Taking advantage of the leveling it created, visual boundaries

into the view is minimized and natural air circulation and lighting of the building are maximized to

its potential.

Rooftop garden completes every unit villas with plantations and skylights, creating a terrace rice

field inspired outlook of the whole architecture, at the same time catering sufficient natural

lighting into the interiors.

Solar panels, cross ventilation, and architecture that adapts and responds to the environment are

some of the attempt that Platform Architects initiates in Uluwatu Resort in order to realize our

client's approach of true eco-friendly concept striving to positively impact on the planet.
